The Galapagos Islands

Hello and WELCOME back to my blog!!! This week I will be writing about the Galapagos islands. The Galapagos is a very amazing place with heaps of Amzing animals. Lately in school we have been doing lots of work art and essays on the Galapagos islands it has cool and hard. But the thing I have liked the most about the Galapagos islands, is it's truly amazing animals.

School responsibillties

Hello everybody and Welcome back to my blog!!! This week I will  be talking about (writing about not talking) my school responsibilities. This year I signed up for Sports monitor and milk monitor. Sadly I didn't get in for sports monitor (which I really wanted) but I did get in for milk monitor. At school two years ago we started getting Fonterra milk for schools. I have really enjoyed milk monitor, but some days it is tough especially when you have deliver to Room one and two (that's my j0b) I have to run around a lot. I like milk monitor  but next year I am going to sign up for more than those two.

ASB get wise (start saving now... KaChing)

WELECOME back... !!!! to my blog, this week yesterday on Wednesday a guy called Vane fro ASB came into our class yesterday to talk about MONEY. These are a few things he talked about first he talked about how to save money; the first thing you could do was chores... BUT... if your parents wont give you money for chores you could do Neighbour hood chores. And one more thing you could do is sell and trade.

Vane was really funny he had a sense of humour. He said some schools he went to; kids at the school had made things and made a lot of cash. I hade a really fun time hearing him talk about money and I can't wait to see him next year!!! :)   

The mission fair!!!

Hello!!! and welcome back to my blog last week on Friday our school had it's annual mission fair. This year I was in a great group, We were selling; Ice-cream in a cup, drinks, SPIDERS and doing nerf gun shootout with lollies as prizes. Our group was called the amazing spider men and can you guess why... Yes you got  it right because we sell spiders. This year went pretty well, but the bad thing is that we were on the bottom courts were absolutely no one was so didn't get a HUGE amount of costumers. We mad $37.00 it isn't the biggest amount this group has ever made but we still hade fun. I don't think we could of done much better apart from trying to get a better spot!

2 week back and ANZAC

Hello!!! and welcome back to my blog this time I will be writing about a very special event 100 years ago the sand fought the Turks in Gallipoli. We commemorate all the ANZACS every year but this year is special because of the 100 years Wellington decided to build a brand new war memorial, I went to the last show there about the war, it was really cool.

A few days ago we had someone from the army come in to talk to us about the world war one, it was very interesting. The ANZACs actually landed in the wrong place and the place that they landed was a very big hill and Turks were guarding at the top and as soon as they arrived the Turks started shooting down. Sometimes the trenches were about five-Ten meters apart.

ANZAC events

Sadly I didn't go to any ANZAC events this year ): I wanted to got to the dawn service but I was really tired and didn't get up in time. I really wanted to go the St. K.F.C VS Carlton AFL game but I had had a hockey game on that our team lost 0-4.

Last blog of term 1

YEAH!!! it's finally the end of term one. This week i'm soooooooooooooooooo exited because once every year in the Easter holidays most of my family's and some friends go up to ROTORUA. when we are up in Rotorua we do a lot of mountain biking, and I just got a new mountain bike. There are lots of really cool tracks up there my favourite one is'; Be rude not to. but I think I have talked enough of my cool holidays so I will start writing my end of term reflection.

The start of the year has been really fun and hard, being a year seven and getting to do a lot more fun things has been really cool. The really fun things about year seven is that we get reward time which we have earned by doing our tasks. There haven't been to many hard things for me but the hardest thing was the EOTC week recount.

Some of my highlights have been Dodge ball, capture the flag and (defiantly) Eotc week. I have also liked swimming, responsibilities and school picnic. This term was a fun term and I cant wait to see the surprises of the next term.

 

EOTC WEEK !

Hello and welcome back to my blog this week I will be writing about something VERY exiting and this VERY exiting thing is EOTC WEEK (A.K.A education outside the classroom week) May not sound exiting but is soo. lets get strait into it.

What I found challenging

The two only things that I found challenging was; Number 1 Tubing, the only reason I found tubing challenging was because it was so cold.
Number 2 Not going sailing, I really x infinity wanted to do sailing.

Things I found easy

I found most things really easy these things are: Archery, rock climbing, going to Te Papa, Watching shows and walking up Mount Kau Kau.

My proudest moment

Was doing a rock climbing wall in only 53 seconds.
